Biography

Despite higher material quality, MBE-grown LED material has consistently shown poorer radiative efficiency compared to MOCVD-grown. My research focuses on the growth of InGaN/GaN structures for light emitting diodes (LEDs). Major focuses are looking into possible centers of nonradiative recombination in MBE-grown material and growing new structures to investigate how the efficiency of MBE-grown LEDs can be improved.
