Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Solid Mechanics, Materials Science and Structures Mechanics
Aerospace Engineer (ENSMA)
Jean-Charles Stinville is currently associate specialist at the University of California Santa Barbara (UCSB) in Tresa Pollock research group. His interests include the deformation behavior and damage of polycrystalline and monocrystalline materials in relation with their microstructure. A significant portion of his efforts involves the development of methodologies and experimental tools for the characterization of the stain localization and damage during cycling loading. Jean-Charles received his Ph.D in solid mechanics, materials science and structures mechanics from the Pprime Institute – University of Poitiers, France and his engineer degree in aeronautics from the French Grande Ecole ENSMA, Poitiers.
